‘War Crimes’. 18 x 24” / Ink & Watercolor on Acid-Free Strathmore watercolor paper.
An original mixed media painting, “War Crimes” is a statement which demands to be reckoned with, wrestled with, as one is drenched in the stark grit of opposing real-world experiences from which we are daily shielded by television sit-coms, sporting events and the consuming of mass quantities of a multitude of distractions. Meanwhile the world keeps turning, fuming, spending and burning, and we are asked the question~ ‘How are we a part of this reality and what can we say or do to make a difference?!’
“War Crimes” is more than a painting; it is a meditation for a large swath of the population of Earth; a fitful night’s sleep; a weekend of discussions; resolutions and rude awakenings. It is one of the many troubling conversations going on within the artist’s mind.
This original work is for discerning collectors who have the desire to own a truly substantial statement piece. Serious inquiries may contact me.
