”Too Hot the Night (ambiguous feelings)”. 18 x 24” / Oil Pastels & Watercolor on acid-free Strathmore watercolor paper.
Her eyes are piercing slits, her skin glows with sweltering heat, as her thoughts begin to congeal in the scarlet backdrop of the blackening night. It is unbearably HOT, while the encrouching darkness soothes the mind. It all seems so contradictory, and confusing, but that’s only beause it has nothing to do with the night, or the weather…does it!? It has to do with what’s within those hidden, black pupils, that enigmatic expression. Everyone has one~ an enigmatic expression…on their face, somewhere, masqued by their posture, their disarming way of speaking. It can be seen everyday, in everyone.Watch for it.
This original work is for discerning collectors who want to see what is not ordinarily seen~ in a statement piece.
