. ”Night Flight (Residual Memory)”. 18 x 24” / Watercolor, Oil Pastels on Acid-Free Strathmore Watercolor paper. / $2,500.oo {/1st tier/ }
Most of us…many of us~ have been told since we were children~ Dreams aren’t real, they’re just our memories & maybe a bit of undigested meat from the previous nights’ supper troubling us. But many have been to our dream locations prior to arriving at that place in this, what we consider to be the Real World. What does THAT mean?! There have been countless reports of people laying in bed, as in hospital, where as they slept they viewed themselves from the vantage point of the corner of the ceiling! THAT is not memory. Many times a dream will contain very advantageous informationwhich could not have been known beforehand, and which saved a person from being at risk of injury, or loss of money. This also is not memory. Keeping a dream log can be very helpful. Most people forget their dreams as they ready themselves for their day. Keeping a journal will remind one much later on in the day or week~ what went on whilst they slept; where they went, who they spoke with and what they were told, what they saw! Residual memory.
This piece is a memory, a suggestion and it is, of course, not for everyone, but for those that understand, or want to-. It can be an intriguing work for those open to thoughts beyond their nose.
