We’ve been told many stories over the course of our lives; inspiring and terrifying stories.        Some festive fables, and some tragic.      In those stories we’ve heard, buried deep in our labyrinthine memories since childhood, people were born and died, both sometimes under unusual circumstances whereby they became heroes, or despots, farmers and fishermen; thieves and prophets.       The stories behind their transformations are inspiring, macabre, and sometimes ridiculous, but all too human.  
       The echoes of these stories reverberate still, in the old wood frame houses, the furiously beating wings of butterflies, the howling train rumbling across the trestle late at night, the smoke of the silhouetted factory in the distance.       These stories will never cease to be told, as long as humans walk the Earth.
